Has anyone mounted a downtube battery on a specialized rockhopper? Mine is a 2015 model and thanks to the angles it has a small space for a battery. This will be my first e bike conversion, I measured the space and I think I can squeak the 52V 14Ah shark battery I've ordered in there, I'm just worried it wont fit when it gets here. I've already ordered the kit, so I'll know in a week or so when it arrives, I was just curious if anyone out there has converted this bike before. Also, does anyone know if any bottom bracket/motor spacers are included in these 1000W bafang kits to optimize fitment? Or do I need to order separately? I'm just trying to order everything I might need in advance so I wont have as many delays during the build.

generally specialized converts ok with its BB. as far as the battery mounting, you measure your triangle space and make sure the battery dimensions are smaller than that. if the bottle cage bolts dont mount right, you can remove them so its flat, put some grippy felt pads on the battery back and use some steel cable ties or velcro whichever doesnt scratch the frame. motor spacers are not included, you might want to add a few 2.5mm spacers just to be safe. Your terrain use case determines your drivetrain setup, which depends on your cassette and front gear ratios, and what lekkie chainring you choose for the motor.
