In an earlier thread I saw that a 2017 Big Honzo needs a BB92 adaptor. But it's looking like mine has a different bottom bracket. 73mm sram powerspine. Is that actually a different kind of bottom bracket or do I still need the BB92.

looks good and yes you definitely want to add some cheap spacers to dial in the motor if needed. you want four 2.5mm motor spacers and one lekkie 2mm spacer in case. you should be fine with the bafang install tool, use a rubber mallet to help tighten the onenut. that and some bike tools, check out his install tool rental kit for others tool ideas you might need for a DIY build.
one last thing. with the 73mm BBs you may have a shorter pedal distance in the non drive side. this is solved with offset cranks where the left crank has 15mm offset or so to even the pedal distance. they are available at a couple vendors, i got mine from lekkie.tech which were very pricy, but I got them for scratch and dent clearance price so it wasnt too bad https://lekkie.tech/product/buzz-bars-left-offest-square-drive-170mm-v3-1/. search around for another vendor for offset crank arms, there are a few out there if you want cheaper. hope that helps, good luck.

totally different BB, hence the notation, 73, 92. 73mm is ideal, youll want a lekkie onenut to secure the motor.
