I had to replace the controller on my BBS02. The old controller had Anderson connectors, so the battery does as well. The new controller has bullet connectors. I got a short cable that converts between the two, and everything seems to be working. I'm wondering if it is OK to run with this setup permanently, or if I should look to put Anderson connectors on the new controller? The battery cable coming off the new controller doesn't quite reach the battery, so I will need some sort of extension cable regardless.

The more mechanical connections, the more possibility for problems with corrosion and poor functioning. I would probably solder on more wire (wrapped with insulation, of course) to extend the leads. If you don't want to do this, use a dialectric grease in the connectors when you reassemble.
