Hello, my friend has a bike with 27,5 tires and it just fits her. We were planning on converting the bike to an Electric. If we buy a rear hub motor and chose to put the 26-inch wheel on. Will that work and can we keep the 27.5-inch wheel on the front?

firstly youll want you avoid hub motors, and go with a mid drive motor which we promote and are sold here, for a number of reasons - superior torque, speed vs hub motors and performance, ease of install/maintenance are better. generally with bike frames you cant change wheel sizes, but some are compatible, check with the manufacturer first if a mullet setup like you are thinking - 26 rear 27.5 front - is possible.
