Im interested in building on a simple step-through frame. There's minimal discussion of mounting the battery on a rear hz. rack. Anyone have insights on this. Also, Im intrigued with the 3 or 4-gear hub gears. Do these work well on Ebikes, Im looking at a Dunelt bike now with 3 gears. I guess I would not need a derailer sensor with this set-up. Im looking for speed, and commuting but I like the ruggedness of these frames...but I think they have a girly reputation that may not be deserved... they look like hybrid cargo bikes. Anyway - any insights would be appreciated.
