Just watched the video that Johnny put out about there being no Gen 2 of the Photon motor. He said they have made incremental improvements to the existing design. When were these made? Are the motors that are now in stock the upgraded design? I see CYC is out of stock on their website.

I bought my original Photon in '23 so I will assume this motor does not have any of the improvements. So far my motor has not had any problems but I only have about 400 miles on it.

I was planning to build a second bike for my wife with a Photon but I want to make sure I get the improved version. Also her bike will not accept a battery on the tube so I will need to find a rack battery that work. Any suggestions?
