I have a 5000 watt rear hub motor and 72v battery sometimes when I hit the throttle it won't go and then kicks in. Have already replaced throttle same issue. Any ideas or feedback?
@Artie Jansen, Could you please provide the brand and model numbers of the suspects involved? I'm game to troubleshoot it with you. Electrical problems can be numerous and exotic. Check out this video about loose phase wires. It is not necessarily a hub motor but it will get you thinking about wire breaks and such. The one thing I would have different is to take a pair of diagonal cutters and squeezed the female spade connector so it would make a snugger electrical connection with the male spade. There is reason it came off in the first place, and a poor bite was likely why it rattled loose.

sounds like the controller for the motor, or something related to that motor which causes the delay
