This my new ride.
Framed Minnesota LTD Fat bike with 27.5 wheels. To this frame I added:
PNW externally routed dropper post
Manitou Mastadon 120mm suspension fork
Shimano hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors
BBSHD motor - 100mm bottom bracket version
Bash guard for motor from Duluth cycle
14 Amp hour 48 v battery in a Luna battery bag
I ride this bike mostly on single track trails in southern California and it does great. The battery will get me about 25 miles at 3000 feet climbing. The total cost was about $2600, so it's a great price for how capable this bike is. I've ridden this BBSHD for about 800 miles now and I have zero complaints. I can highly recommend this setup for someone looking into creating a fat e-bike.
