I know there has been talk of using battery to supply power to lights.
Attached are photos of my solution, I did a 1000w Bafang motor and a 52v 14amp battery.
My solution was a DC to DC : 6v to 12v converter.
The front light is the smallest 12v light bar I could find, the rear is a red strobe light similar to lights on a DOT truck.
Red female 2 pined adapter for the Bafang unit had to be sourced from Ebay.
I control the lights with my 500C display, + button.
Have only bench tested the system so far.
Waiting for warmer weather .
Thanks JNO for the inspiration .

I have used the lights for about 32 miles , (4) ,8 mile trips. No big change in battery level, Lights are working fine.
