If i can get a motor that has 5k watts and a sticker that reads 500w i will be in heaven. I am 65 years old. I only need to wear the 3 year old dog out for about an hour max. then it can recharge it (and me) for 23 hours. The wife will walk her for the second walk.

Bolton is relatively close to me. I was looking at a fat bike cuz when i follow my 3 year old husky through the bush some of the tree roots are pretty large and i think it is just a matter of time before i pop one of my wife's tires. That won't go over well. Your solution is an example of thinking outside the box. i like the idea. Visually FAT bikes do not appeal to me. Perhaps a mountain bike with fatter tires will work. Johnny says mtb's are easier to steer so he is steering me to a motor in the middle of the mountain bike for max torque. I need as much (nm) torque as i can get cuz basically the husky is frequently stopping and starting and doesn't go more than 8 mph unless she spots a rabbit. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
