Love my current bike a 1993 GT Karakoram, but it is just too small for my 6’2” frame.
Thinking of buying a Granite Bullseye 21” frame and fork set, 4.9” tires/ wheels and hydraulic brake set for about $500 and using saddle, bars/ neck and Shimano Deore crankset off my Karakoram.
I realize I will still need many parts to complete the build. Then I will test and tune before I use Johnny NerdOut’s excellent videos to convert to an eBike.
BikesDirect has the 21” Mobecane Boris LTD for $799 which seems like a good deal, but I really like my Deore shifters.
Why not consider a wide tire e-bike with dual motors? Dual motors have more horsepower compared to single motors.
depends, is that what you want, is it whats needed for your terrain / use? only you can answer that
