I have installed a BBS02 kit on my road bike. This is my first ebike conversion and there has been a learning curve. The issue I am having is with my 7 speed cassette. On the highest gear (smallest cog) while pedaling on PAS level 6 or higher I am finding the chain is skipping. I have replaced the wheel hub and cassette with still the same issue. I'm attributing this to the motor just having too much torque at certain assist levels. Anyone run into this issue? Any input as to whether my assumption is right or wrong would be appreciated. If so , is there a wheel hub out there that is designed to handle the torque stresses put on bicycles by these motors? Thanks in advance....

What I mean by skipping from what I can tell is that the teeth from the ratcheting mechanism inside the wheel hub that catch the hub when one is pedaling are "skipping" around the hub. I suppose this is due to the torque from the motor. I say this, and I may be wrong, because from my observation this occurs when Im doing some hard pedaling on higher PAS levels. When applying light pressure this does not occur. This also does not happen with any of the other gears. I'm using a stock 46T chainring and 7 speed 11-36T cassette. Chain alignment does not seem to be the issue to me at least. My chain is a fairly new kmc chain rated for ebikes. I have reprogrammed the controller and will take another look at my settings. I will also try looking into wheel hubs rated for ebikes. If anyone has a link I can use for this I would appreciate it. Thanks for the responses.
