So I have a BBS02 motor and I would like to have wired brakelights/turn signals. I've been looking on Amazon for compatible options, and I've found a few like this one that look promising. https://www.amazon.com/pizarra-Electric-Headlight-Signal-Conversion/dp/B0BX9N9JC6/ref=dp_prsubs_sccl_1/131-2886599-3531816?pd_rd_w=0WzxD&content-id=amzn1.sym.22d70615-7a4e-4672-b6a1-6181b9d57bf2&pf_rd_p=22d70615-7a4e-4672-b6a1-6181b9d57bf2&pf_rd_r=AD3K5H2HVSYVM7K26W17&pd_rd_wg=0lOwv&pd_rd_r=5d7dface-ab2e-4e93-8376-86ae16c5f4c3&pd_rd_i=B0BX9N9JC6&psc=1 As far as I can tell, this set of taillights (and others like it, there are several listings that use most of the same images, all from different sellers that don't ship via Amazon's delivery network) work by putting an adaptor between the main wiring harness and the motor that splits off the brake sensor wires and some power off to the light controller. It looks like whenever the brake sensors are activated, the brake light will turn on. So here's my problem, I would prefer to have a gear shift sensor on my bike to avoid destroying the chain, but I don't want the brake light coming on when I'm shifting gears and confusing anyone behind me. Is there some way I could rewire the circuit so that the brake sensors will turn the brake light on but the gear shift sensor won't? Would I be risking damage to the motor controller by doing it? does anyone have a pinout for the main wiring harness connector or could explain to me how the brake sensors work? Any advice is appreciated. Edit: I'm an idiot, there's a seperate brake sensor hookup that's directly attached to the controller that seems intended for the shift sensor for just this sort of reason. I'm still interested in hearing if anyone has one of the light sets I mentioned or knows of a more legit seller somewhere on the internet. if you have it, how bright is the headlight? do the signals work well?
