I'm still in the planning stage of my first ebike conversion. Planning on installing a bafang bbshd kit. What bits and bobs / misc. parts should a person have to make the build go smoother?
One specific question is if you have a 68mm BB and bike came with single chainring up front, Is it likely that BB spacers will be needed?
I know it will be good to have a bunch of zip ties and maybe some wire coil (not sure what it's called) to keep the birds nest of wires tidy.
Are there any other misc items a new builder should have on hand before tearing into the bike?
Thanks.
not really. all tools for install, zip ties, super glue and epoxy comes in handy for brake sensors / magnets if u use hydraulic cutoffs and want those bonded to the bike. spacers are cheap so grab a few 2.5mm ones just to be safe. all pretty straightforward
