Hello Forum. I have the Bafang M625 with 1000w motor. The unit does not perform at all. The screen comes up, I was able to set all the parameters ( wheel size etc.) yet the bike simply doesn't work. When riding, the screen usually says I'm going 99mph. I've watched most of the Youtube videos to no avail. Through careful inspection, I've noticed that from the battery plate I have only four wires, the large black and red and two tiny wires that go to the plug. On the other side of the smaller plug there are three wires. Since there are 5 metal lugs on the battery plate, I'm wondering if I'm missing a wire , from the factory?
I"m running out of ideas..
Any thoughts?
You might want to post a few pics of your set up. From the installs I do with the BBS02 and BBSHD, there are only two wires (red and black) from the battery mounting plate to the Bafang motor. Yes, there are five pins on the battery plate, but only two are used.
