After a fall last year that forced open the connection to the throttle... I realized the wires were bent and couldn't be plugged in like before. New throttle and new 1 in-4 out cables later, there is no power going to the pedals, the throttle has no effect. I added a "shift release" by the way. So... do I unplug everything? Get the amp meter out (Please, God no!)? Any obvious solutions I'm missing? Can't wait to get back on the road! 😁

Thank you for that! Resolved. Here's how I located the problem. 1-Unblug everything that stops the motor: gear sensor, brakes. 2-Unplug the throttle. 3-Turn on, does the display turn on? For me yes. 4-Put in walk mode. Does the motor work? In my case yes. 5- Plug back the throttle: For me *Stops working*: Problem found. 😁
What is "shift release" ? Um so you stretched the wires or something after a fall ok so the outer connectors for the bafang motor wire harness are easy to replace, the entire motor wire harness im not so sure about, it may be some of the wires are damaged. that may involve taking the motor apart, or sending it into the manufacturer perhaps? idk contact johnny if u bought from him...? you can look into it I have no experience with it. sorry
