On Johnny's website he sells hydraulic brake sensor cut offs ($20) that are listed under "sensors" category. They require a bit of patience to install as they are magnets that are glued onto the brake handle at points where they will (as you squeeze the brake levers) cause a circuit to enact power cut-off to the motor when you brake. You'll need to position them just right and have a powerful enough glue that they'll stay in place--once you've discovered the "just right" position via trial and error--Don't set the glue till you've got the right positioning. I haven't installed them myself, but there are youtube videos on installation that I've seen. (I prefer cable discs myself, so Ive never gone this route). Johnny also sells bafang hydraulic brakes but that's a higher price price $90 for a complete kit, or $60 for just the front or just the rear. Those are complete hydraulic brake kits with hosing, discs, levers and motor 3 pin connectors like the mechanicals you purchased. You'll have to scroll down the "bike parts" list quite a bit till you'll see the hydros on JNO's site.
Good luck on your build! keep us posted if you can.
